This 19-kilometre cycle path links Mimizan Plage with Mimizan Bourg, Aureilhan, Saint-Paul-en-Born and Pontenx-les Forges, and connects with the Vélodyssée.
If you have time, it is worth taking a detour off the route of this cycle path to enjoy the many attractions of Mimizan, the splendid Botanical Garden by the Aureilhan lake, or the views of the lake from the Aureilhan itself.
We start this piste cyclable at this point on the Rue des Lacs, very close to the bridge that crosses the Mimizan estuary. A section of this cycle path uses 1,100 metres of the Vélodyssée, right up to the junction on the right with the Route de Lespecier, where you take a southerly direction to start the route towards Contis.
