It is curious that this route is called the Circuit des plages (Beaches Circuit), because not only do we not walk on any beaches, but at no point along the way do we even catch a glimpse of the waves in the distance.
Be that as it may, its 6.6 km length links the access roads to the beaches of Penon and Casernes, both in Sanguinet. Most of the route runs almost entirely along country lanes, although the beginning of the route runs along the very long Avenue Chambrelet.
The route is well signposted, with white plaques with blue stripes at many points.
The start of this route is at the original building that houses the Seignosse Tourist Office, which has plenty of parking spaces at the side.
From there, take the main street (Avenue Chambrelet) and follow it in a northerly direction, leaving the office on your right. Walk along this avenue for more than half a kilometre and, when it ends at a right-hand bend to join the Avenue de Marquèze, continue straight ahead along the path through the pine trees. A sign with information about the route marks the beginning of this forest path.
