Biscarrosse (which, like almost all the coastal towns in Landes, is divided into two distinct areas, the Centre and the Beach; in our case, Biscarrosse and Biscarrose-Plage) is the last coastal town in the north of Landes; if we leave this town to continue northwards, we leave Landes and enter the department of Gironde, although both belong to the region of Nouvelle Aquitaine.

The 9 km circular route is completely flat, as is usual in Landes, and includes places of great beauty.

The route is almost entirely on forest tracks, with paths surrounded by pine trees, and avoids both urban areas and roads, although at three specific points you do have to cross roads, so you will need to take extra precautions in these locations.

The route starts here, at the kiosk that delimits the caravan parking area (Aire de camping car). The campsite is on our right.

We have to start our walk along the path on the left, next to the kiosk, which will be on our right, and which penetrates the pine forest.
