This cycle path links Mimizan Plage with Mimizan Bourg (Mimizan Centre) and Bias. It is 13.2 km long and connects with the Vélodyssée and the piste cyclable Mimizan - Pontenx les Forges.

This is a recently built piste cyclable, so it is not yet used very much. In any case, it is a good option to link Mimizan with the villages of the south, especially with Saint Julien en Born, which only has one cycle path, the one that goes to its beach, Contis Plage. Only 10 km separate Bias from Saint Julien, but it is a very busy road; a cycle path linking these two towns is missing.

The piste cyclable starts at this point on the Rue des Lacs, a few metres from the bridge over the Mimizan estuary. The Vélodyssée also runs along this point.

This whole stretch of road has a large number of parking spaces, so it is easy to park your car.

A few metres further on we come across these signs indicating that following this track we can continue along the Vélodyssée (Lespecier-Contis-Leon), reach Mimizan Bourg or take the track that links Mimizan with Aureilhan, Saint-Paul-en-Born and Pontenx les-Forges.

As you can see, they have not yet updated the information that Bias can also be reached by the cycle path.
