This 6.6 km cycle path, which starts in the Navarrosse district of Biscarrosse, links Biscarrosse with Sanguinet. The start of the route is at a point on the Vélodyssée, as shown below.
When you reach the Avenue Charles Castets de Sanguinet, you can take this road towards the centre of the town, or you can follow the path along the lake and admire the extraordinary views that the area has to offer. This road ends at the D-652, the road leading to Bordeaux (the road is called Route de Bordeaux for good reason).
We start this cycle path at this point on the Chemin de Navarrosse, opposite the Camping Les Ecureuils and where the intersection with the Vélodyssée is located.
Of the two bike paths shown in the picture, we take the one on the left, which runs parallel to the road; the other, which runs off to the right and into the trees, is the Vélodyssée.
